Ok folks, the moment you have all dreaded has arrived.

We are just over two weeks away from the release of the very first full length Toyboat CD. The official release date is October 24th at OVFF. If you want to order it now, there is a Paypal link on the band website. All preorders will ship on or about October 27th. We will also be taking orders at Conclave this weekend.

There was one more song that we wanted on there that just didn't get done in time. We ended up with a lot more originals than we originally thought.

Now I just have to get the cover done, and we're done. It's just the waiting game now.

Fussy obsessive that I am, I have asked for one more tiny change. But I think we're done. We're talking track list now. If we can just get paperwork from a couple of folks, we can send this to the duplicators tomorrow.

We will be at Conclave in Romulus MI October 9-11, 2009 (time to be announced, I think it's Saturday afternoon)

We will be at OVFF in Dublin OH. We will be playing at noon on Friday. We will also have a CD release party that weekend. More information to come. (I am doing my best to remain calm, I'm not doing it well, we're playing at OVFF !!!)

There will be at least one more show this year, but I need to wait to announce it. It's gonna be kinda special.

I just got off the phone with Gundo. The album is in the can, now it's just mixing, mastering and printing. We're almost there.

This Friday at Duckon Toyboat will release our first single. Two songs, The Poolhall At the End Of The Universe and Sunset Boulevard. Both songs will be on the upcoming full length CD, which will hopefully be released at OVFF.

Over the weekend we will also have a Paypal button on the web page so you folks who are not going to be at Duckon can get a copy.

In the liner notes of the CD there is a code that will give you the price of the single off the price of the full length CD, so you aren't rebuying songs (both songs will probably be rerecorded anyway).

The Duckon Filkharmonic (blame me for the name) will be performing at opening ceremonies, and that's all I have to say about that. Don't miss it, it's going to be fun.

Last weekend Toyboat went into the studio to record three songs. Two will be out on a single which will be released at Duckon next weekend.
